2016: Business Aviation Solutions Partner Nick Verdea, CAM, GLP receives Global Leadership Professional prestigious designation from Wharton School of Business/Global Business Travel Association

Atlanta, GA,— Business Aviation Solutions is proud to announce that Senior Consultant, Nick Verdea, CAM, GLP, has been awarded the prestigious “Global Leadership Professional” (GLP) designation.  A partnership between the Global Business Travel Association and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, the GLP Program is the only masters-level course for travel professionals.  This strategic curriculum uses an interdisciplinary approach that addresses both the opportunities and challenges of conducting business in today’s environment.  In receiving this designation and honor, Nick becomes the world’s first designated Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) and Global Leadership Professional (GLP)

Verdea’s experience includes consulting for mid- and large-sized aviation enterprises.  Passionate about flying and diverse in operational experience, he holds an FAA Airline Transport Pilot license with more than 12,000 hours, with more than a dozen type ratings in various business jets.  He is a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University’s Master of Aeronautical Science program with an Operations and Management specialization and also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University.

Verdea currently directs an ISBAO Stage 2 operation and is a certified and accredited ISBAO auditor.  He also is a Certified Aviation Manager (CAM), a NBAA distinction and a Global Leadership Professional (GLP), a Wharton School/GBTA distinction.  Additionally, he has completed the Business Aviation Management series through the Darden School of Business Administration through the University of Virginia and the Aviation Safety Management Systems program at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering.  Verdea is also active within the business aviation industry having served on the Corporate Aviation Management Committee of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) for more than a decade and currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Certified Aviation Manager program for the NBAA.  Nick also serves his community as a Board of Director for the Tulsa Air and Space Museum.
