Nicole LaVance is the VP, Client Services at Business Aviation Solutions, responsible for overseeing a wide range of operations – from coordinating payroll, benefits, accounting, and office management to assisting with marketing events, schedules, and flight dispatches to coordinating pilot training. With more than 20 years of professional aviation experience, a diverse skill set, and strong communication skills, Nicole is a powerful, dynamic, and highly organized asset to clients within the aviation and aerospace industry.
Nicole has worked in several senior-level positions that have enabled her to hone her diverse skill set and deepen her industry relationships and insight. Her rich and varied background throughout two decades in the industry reflects her many talents and passions.
A career-driven and thoroughly professional executive who thrives on the pursuit of personal and professional growth, Nicole is highly disciplined and experienced in many areas of aviation. She possesses a deep understanding of compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local operating regulations – including the spirit and intent of all Federal Air Regulations – and is highly proficient in Part 91/Part 135 Regulations and FOS.
Nicole entered the aviation industry in 1996 as a customer service representative for JetWest. After transitioning into a supervisor role and then FBO Manager at JetWest, Nicole stayed with the company following its acquisition by J&D Air in 2001. In her role as FBO Manager, she oversaw all aspects of the new company, including supervision of CSRs, fuel purchasing, quality control, hangar property leasing, marketing, and new client development. Nicole later went on to serve as Vice President, Operations for Elite Aviation, where she oversaw day-to-day operational aspects ranging from pilot training and recordkeeping to PRIA/TSA oversight to contract negotiation to marketing and more.
Prior to her current role at Business Aviation Solutions, Nicole served as Flight Administration Manager at Sun Air Jets, where she was also charged with spearheading a wide range of tasks and operations. Part of those diverse duties included maintaining Sun Air Jets’ multiple safety awards – including Wyvern, ARG/US and IS-BAO – along with successful completion of their independent audits.
